using 1 3/4" stainless steel
fasteners, and special, elasticized
polyurethane adhesive, to keep the

-40 to 120 degree temperature.
We use only select Western Red Cedar
as our feedstock of choice, since
it is simply the finest outdoor building
material available!
Red Cedar is one of the best outdoor
materials. It is a dimensionally stable
wood that lies flat and stays straight,
which means it resists the natural
tendency to crack and check as is
normal in many other types of wood.
Its distinct cell structure, and oils
that act as natural preservatives
, help the wood resist rot and decay.
As well , the organic compounds found
in this special wood (thujaplicins)
give off that distinct cedar aroma
pleasant to humans, but repel insects, moths, and
other wood pests. Western Red Cedar
is bacterial and fungal resistant,
and is incredibly thermal coefficient,
meaning that even on hot days, it
is cool to sit in. It is a lightweight
wood , but is incredibly 80% the strengh
of Oak !!
A beautiful wood, Western Red Cedar
is one of the few wood species that
are naturally at home in the outdoors.
Properly finished , your wood project
with this material can last for decades,
even in harsh environments.
It is not uncommon for a properly
finished Adirondack Chair to last
100 years, there are many in existence
to prove it. Naturally, these furniture
pieces often become family heirlooms,
and are handed down generations after
generation, becoming sought after
prizes for collectors.
Whenever you invest in one of our
pieces, rest assured that you are
getting the finest craftsmanship available.
That fact is reflected in our warranty,
which is very simple.
Our Pledge: If for any reason
your Adirondack Furniture
does not live up to your expectations,
